It is with intense pride that I announce that my thesis paper, From Scrolls to Prints to Moving Pictures: The Development of Iconographic Ghost Imagery in Pre-Modern Japan and its Application to the Contemporary Horror Film, has been accepted for publication in the UC Davis Journal of Undergraduate Research. I can't fully express my feelings at present, but I'm so unbelievably happy that I cried. I could hardly believe it; I honestly thought that I hadn't a snowball's chance in hell. Shows what I know, huh? Well, here's to the woman with the long, black hair. May she find her peace down the long path of time. Suggestions for appropriate celebratory rites will be greatly appreciated, and thanks to all for their continued love and support. |
